We love bronze and use it in most of our pendant work, earrings and rings. Our bronze is a true bronze, meaning that it is made up of 90% copper and 10% tin. We hand form each of our bronze pieces from Bronze Clay - a special clay that is made up of metal particles and a clay like binder. When it is fired in a kiln at a high temperature the binder burns away and the particles of metal sinter together leaving you with a solid piece of bronze.

We use a combination of new and recycled sterling silver in our pendants, earrings and rings. Sterling silver is a metal alloy. It contains 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. We form our Sterling Silver pieces from either sheet metal, wire, recycled sterling or precious metal clay. Just like our bronze clay this clay is made up of particles of sterling silver and a clay like binder. It is fired in a kiln at a high temperature to burn away the binder and to allow the metal particles to sinter together.

14 karat gold filled jewelry looks exactly like 14 karat gold and is durable enough to wear for years on end. Unlike gold plated jewelry, which will rub off over time, gold fill goes through a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14 karat gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass. This results in a thicker layer of gold that will last a lifetime! We use gold fill for our chains, our earring hoops and our rings.

Also known as NuGold, Red Brass and Merlin's Gold, jewelers bronze is a great alternative to 14 karat gold. Unlike true bronze, jewelers bronze is an alloy of 85% copper and 15% zinc. It is the closest look to 14 karat gold without the same price point. We love the look of jewelers bronze and use it in our rings and some pendants.

Surgical Steel is a hypoallergenic metal that is commonly used in jewelry. It is lead and nickel free and a great choice for those who are sensitive to metals. We use surgical steel for our stud backings.

We love clay. Like a lot. We use various types of clay including Bronze Clay, Precious Metal Clay, Porcelain and Stoneware. You'll see it appear in most all of our jewelry, ring cones and dishes. As always our clay is formed, glazed and finished by hand.
